AFTER CITY CLERK FILED BUDGET LATE AND COST ZEARING $198000
AND DIDN'T FIRE HER. It actually cost the city nearly $400000 as she lost the $198000 and then the City had to come up with the amount to cover the budget. So in Reality this was a huge loss for Zearing. One that will go down in History and leave so many people and generations shaking their heads, as how could they keep the Clerk that caused this?

This was the very first school in Zearing. It actually started out as a 1 room school house. Was brought into Zearing and was added onto to look like this, by 1895. Which was the first Graduating Class of Zearing. In 1920 a Big Brick Consolidated building was built and this was sold to A.F. Rahfeldt, who took it apart and built a barn with the material on his farm.
Wait a second kids, can you believe how much Zearing has changed in almost 150 yrs. ?
